Our final Friday night meeting of the 2023 season was held at Florence Baptist Church. They are always welcoming and served us a meal of spaghetti and homemade cookies. Mrs. Sonya sang us a special prior to the devotion held by Bro. Phillip Skipworth. We had 58 teams register for the tournament, our biggest tournament of the season.
Saturday was a breezy but pleasant day with some tough fishing. Our top team, Napier and Bole, had a bag of fish weighing 22.90 pounds. Our second place team, Beck and Suratt, had a 21.92 pound bag with a big fish weighing 6.55 pounds. Third place was secured by Osborn and Gamble with 15.96 pounds.
