The first Ohio Team Series tournament is in the books.

Thanks to the Indian Lake Community Church for providing a great place for us to meet and to the ladies of the Church for the great food they prepared for us. We always like the Indian Lake tournament and know we will have all we can eat at the Friday night meeting.

After the meal one of our fisherman, Mark Rudasill, provided an inspiration message based on John 3:16 showing that God loves us no matter who or what we are.

On Saturday we Launched 25 boats at safe light in somewhat chilly weather. During the day the fishermen experienced wind, rain, hail, and a little sun. At 3:00 the boats returned to the ramp and even though the weather was not the best the fishing was not too bad. DJ Manning and Braedan Trogdion brought five fish to the scales weighing 12.47 pounds including the big bass weighing 3.38 pounds. Congratulations to them for their win. They reported catching their fish using chatter baits, swim jigs, and flipping jigs in pads and near wood. The father and son team of Darrin and Jordan Brumbaugh took a close second with 12.46 pounds and reported catching their fish on chatter baits and a black worm. In third the team of Nick Morgan and Ian Conley had a limit weighing 12.06 pounds. In fourth with 5 bass weighing 11.79 pounds was Tyler and Troy Denlinger and in fifth was Dave Davenport with five bass weighing 11.62 pounds.

Sixteen limits were weighed in with a total of ninety one fish brought to the scales.
