Randy Weddington and Ronnie Smith win the season ending tournament on High Rock and take home over $5,000 in winnings!!!
We want to thank Rock Outdoors for hosting our Friday afternoon event. It was a great time of food and fellowship. Our speaker for the night was Justin Rutherford one of our fellow anglers. Justin shared his testimony on how God had moved in his life in a mighty way. Thank you, Justin, for sharing your awesome testimony.
The word was that High Rock fishing was tough with only 24 limits coming to the scales I think the word was accurate. For those that figured out how to catch them we were able to see some of those good-sized fish that High Rock is known for. The team of Randy Weddington and Ronnie Smith weighed in the winning bag of 20.69 pounds and was anchored by the 6.52-pound Big Fish of the tournament and winnings of $5,037. 2nd place went to the team of Todd Harris and Chris Brown with 19.97 pounds. They also won the Rock Outdoors bonus money for the highest finish in a boat purchased from Rock Outdoors. Their total winnings topped $1,750. 3rd place went to the team Of Ladd and Landon Whicker with 18.39 pounds and winnings of $1,215. 4th place was the team of Michael Kinard and Aaron Harwood with 18.29 pounds and winnings of $700. 5th place went to the team of Roger Hoover and Scott Hamrick with 17.03 pounds and winnings of $500. Rounding out the teams in the money was 6th place Chris and Tanner Albright. 7th Chad Poteat and Maurice Freeze. 8th Robin Collins and Ronnie White. 9th Scott and Matt Henley. 10th Cody Thompson and Ethan Cox. 11th Jarrett Freeze and Rodney Adams. 12th Steve Summer and Jason Thomas.
Our points championship was very close and only separated by 3 points, the team of Michael Kinard and Aaron Harwood edged out the Team of Jarrett Freeze and Rodney Adams. Congratulations to both teams for a great season.
Our points champions Michael Kinard and Aaron Harwood won $1,625 and are eligible for the 2024 National Championship at the Harris Chain of lakes next March.
The Team of Mitch Drew and Rodney Cozart won the team out of the money drawing.
Dave Snyder won the Legends $150 gift certificate from Rock Outdoors.
Chris Brown and Todd Harris won the Rock Outdoor bonus for the highest placing team in a new boat purchased from Rock Outdoors in the last 36 months.
