Jones and Fain win a hot one on Watts Bar!!

Friday Night Meeting was at Whites Creek Baptist Dandridge.  The members of this church always provide the fishermen with a great meal.  Later Pastor Roger brought a great message on the Man in the Middle.  We had one rededication, and many hearts were moved.

Saturday morning the Fishers of Men gang woke to a warm sunny day with temperatures in the low sixties and no wind.  Later as the sun came out temperatures got up in the high 90s.

 First place Ameriprise Award went to Ronny Jones and Bailey Fain who came to the scales with a 3 fish limit weighing 12.40 lbs.  This seasoned team kept a flipping stick in their hands most of the day to catch their winning bag of fish.  This winning bag included the lunker of the tournament a beautiful 5.58 pounds largemouth bass

Second place went Team White Pine Marine Pros Brian Jordan and Michael Smith.  This team reported running their Mercury powered White Pine Marine boat all over Watts Bar Lake to return with 3 bass weighing in at 9.37 pounds.  They used many different lures to catch their fish as deep as 20 feet deep.  This team is sponsored by White Pine Marine, Dixie Custom Rods, Tote Rite and Mercury.

Third place went to the skillful team of Jack Dunaway and Barry Brown who weighed in 3 fish at 9.23 lbs.  Rumor has that this team fished deep all day to bring back their nice bag of fish.
