The 3rd stop of the SC Lowcountry Division on Easter weekend started out of Friday night at Clay Riddle's farm where our anglers were treated to a cookout of Burgers and dogs followed by one of the best Easter messages i Have ever heard by The Bass Chaplain Chris Wells. 3 indicated that they had put their faith in Christ! What an Easter blessing!

The 45 teams who decided to brave the elements faced some of the most challenging conditions you can imagine with 2-3 inches of rain, winds of 15-20 mph and temps in the low to mid 40's. The water temps dropped 10 degrees and all this after the MLF Pro's had just pounded the lake for the last week.

But Boy did Lake Murray show out again!

Leading the Pack were the Marlowe Brothers, Justin and Jordan who brought 5 clones to the scales weighing 25.96 lbs. They took home over $3800 for their efforts

Finishing 2nd was the father/son duo of Chris and Tucker Veronee who weighed 24.14 lbs including the days Big Bass a beautiful 7.46 lb giant.

The collected almost $2000.

In 3rd was the always tough team of Marshall French and Tripp Poplin who brought 23.96 lbs to the scales winning them over $1100

4th Place went to Darryl Starkey and Nelson Walker with 23.70

Rounding out the top 5 was Clay Riddle and Dave Franklin with 21.57

There were 31 5 fish limits caught with a total of 169 fish at an average weight of 3.19 lbs
