The 4th stop of the SC Lowcountry season kicked off Friday night at First Baptist Church in Manning where the church treated our anglers to an awesome meal of Baked Pasta, Salad and deserts. Afterwards Pastor Philip Reynolds (an old college roomate) brought a great message about forgetting those things in the past and strving to be more Christ like in the future. Saturday morning dawned early as our anglers left the ramp at 6 am in search of the bucketmouths Santee is known for. Leading the pack was the always strong team of Craig McFadden and Mike Watson who brought 5 clones to the scales weighing 27.59 lbs earing them $3300 In 2nd was the team of Bryan Cook and Steve harmon whose limit weighed 22.91 lbs earing them almost $1700 In 3rd Place Bennet Lawshe fished solo and brought 22.40 lbs to the scales including the days JC's Outdoors Big Bass a 7.25 lb Brute. 4th Place went to Jeff Mixson and Michael Craven who weighed 20.06 lbs Rounding out the top 5 was the team of Brent Riley and Nathan Burgess who weighed 18.88 lbs The Points race is tightening up as Shull and Vining still hold on to the top spot, followed by 2nd French and Poplin, 3rd Odom and Burns, 4th Floyd and Bradford and 5th Veronee and Veronee.
