What a wonderful turnout we had for our first tournament of the season. I was honestly unsure of the number of boats we were going to have but to my surprise we ahd 31 teams come out and fish with us. The importance of the Friday Night meeting showed why they are a VITAL part of this organization as we had one gentleman give his life to Christ!! The Bible tells us in Matthew 18:12 the improtance of one lost sheep and how the shepard would leave the 99 to find it. We should never be disappointed that only one soul came to know Jesus, but rejoice in the fact that the one lost sheep has been found!!!
The food we had was second to none. Jason Ray from the Church @ War Hill used the RLN Global Disaster Releif mobile kitchen to make a masterpiece of a meal with smoked leg quarters, green beans, corn, rolls, and got us a homemade banna pudding. My wife Bri, kicked in an amazing potatoe salad and some peanut butter cookies as well. Needless to say, it was a meal fit for a king! Great job for all of the effort!
