LAKE- Hartwell with 31 boats and JOINT event With Ga. North.
Our weekend began with the Friday night meeting hosted by CAPT. DAVE's BOATING WORLD in Anderson SC. We were treated to some great southern hpspitality, hamburgers, baked beens, and deserts. David Strickland and his crew really made us feel welcome. We LOVE our HOST sites, and these guys really stepped up to support this JOINT event with Ga. North.
Andy Montgomery of MLF was our guest speaker on Friday night. Andy shared a few of his "life" stories with our anglers, and how these events shaped his life journey. Many times we don't realize the impact of the events and circumstances that are going on in our life until later down the road when we can see how God was using those things to shape and prepare us for HIS greater purpose in our life. Andy use to think that "I aint got no testimony" when hearing how others had such a life changing "event" in their lives, but now realizes that God has given each of us our own testimony for a purpose. In closing, Andy asked "DO YOU HAVE DOUBT"? The kind of doubt that will influence your ETERNITY.... If you do, then we implore you to LEAVE NO DOUBT! The Storms blew through Sat morning just before blast off. This changed the dynamics for many anglers, and made the big bite a little tougher on Hartwell than it had been for the last couple of weeks. The field of 50 boats (combined events with SC Upstate & Ga North) still had a pretty good day on the water, though.
