Our 2023 season seemed to have just got rolling and now we have completed all of our SC UPSTATE TEAM series evants.

The Friday night meeting was hosted by our friends at FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH in Lincolnton Ga.  We want to give a shout out to them for opening their doors, and feeding the TEAM and LEGACY series anglers for this "joint" tx weekend.  They treated us to a hearty meal of BBQ, fixins, and deserts.  I know of at least ONE young man that said yes to help yourselves as he slammed FOUR BBQ sanwiches!!  Faith Community Church, and their folks are what makes our MINISTRY with FOM possible on Firday nights.  THANKS!!

Chris wells delivered a heart felt word for those at the meeting.  He shared some of the challenges that Jonah had and how his own thoughts about what the Ninevites did or didn't deserve led him to rebel against God's call in his life.  As we know how the story ended up, God provided a way to get Jonah's attention, by making him the "LARGEST TOP WATER PLUG" ever!!!  Chris reminded us that we ALL have to make that decision to follow God's lead or rebel against him.  Where are YOU in your life right now?  Have you surrendered to His calling?  Do you remember the moment that you CHOSE to trust in JESUS?  We would love an opportunity to talk with you.  (wether you are an angler in FOM, or even if you are just READING this....  ) Give me a call at 864-417-5804.

After hearing the reports on Friday evening, we knew that Tx day Saturday was going to be a tough day.  The weather was great, but the fishing was slow, and those good bites were tough to come by.  As we say, "somebody will get them," and that team was Chris Coleman and Truett Hill.  They managed to pull in a strang WIN with 15.92 lbs.

Shannon Poore and Owen Porter held on to the POINTS to take the ANGLER OF THE YEAR for SC UPSTATE.  They punched their ticket to qualify for the FOM National next spring on the Florida Harris Chain of lakes.  Good luck guys!
