SC Upsate LEGACY division was at Lake Russell with 15 boats to round out our 2024 Season on 4/27/2024.
We were hosted by NORTHSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH in Calhound Falls. They provided an excellent meal of hamburgers, beans, and fixins. These guys were GREAT!
One of our own angers and owner of MULE SKINNER BAITS, Bo Price, spoke to our anglers on Friday night. Bo shared about Peter, and how he was one of his favorite men of the bible. Bo, as many of us anglers, can relate to the life of Peter. There are always times in our life that we feel that we have it ALL together, and are riding the wave of life. Those times we are invincible. As Peter was in that place when he was with Jesus, prior to the crucificition. Peter was bold and thought he could be strong through whatever came his way.
As we know the story, Peter failed at that claim the night Jesus was arrested. He denied his friend, and Lord Jesus. We too can relate, can't we? There are times that we too fall short of our own expectations, and before we know it, we have slipped just like Peter.
But THANK THE LORD that Jesus ready and willing to forgive and recieve us! Where are YOU today? Do you need to take a step closer to Jesus?
We pray that you would reach out to us, if you have any questions about the steps to take to get closer to Jesus.
Saturday was a beutiful day on Lake Russell. We had a litte wind, and some very moderate temperatures. That means is WASN'T too HOT!
ALl our teams came to the scales, and there were lots of smiles. We had a BLAST serving everyone.
