Beatson & Scott Blow away the Field on a Tough Santee

The 2nd stop of the 2024 season brought us to the famed Santee Cooper Lakes. The Friday night meeting hosted by the fine folks at Summerton Baptist featured some great BarB Que with all the fixins from McCades and a great straight forward message from Adam Wilson Pastor of Santee Baptist.

Saturdays conditions would find a warming trend with temperatures reaching the lower 70's on the exceptionally muddy Lakes. But as usual when you come to Santee somebody is going to catch a Bag and Brad Beatson and Brian Scott did just that dopping a whopping 27.92 lbs on the scales to take the win by almost 6 lbs. They took home $3450 for their efforts.

Finishing 2nd were Santee Hammers Chuck Howard and Ken Ellis with 22.08 lbs earning them a $1700+ payday.

Coming in 3rd was the always tough team of Mike Watson and Craig McFadden with 21.93 lbs earning them over $1100

4th place went to Bennett Lawshe and Will Timmons with 20.55 lbs

Rounding out the top 5 was the team of Thomas Hardwick and Tommy Williams with 18.88 lbs
