The final Tournament of the 2024 season kicked off Friday night at Harvest Baptist Church where our anglers heard a great message from "Big Fish" John Byrd III about not being anxious or worrying, but casting all our cares on Him.
Saturday morning brought unseasonably cool temperatures which led to about an hour fog delay. But as usual somebody always figures out a way to catch a good bag of fish.
Leading the charge was the team of Walt Almond and Chad Rabone whose limit pushed the scales to 18.37 earing them a 1st Place payday of over $3300
Finishing 2nd was the team of Steve Phillips and Randal Bock whose limit weighed 16.17 lbs earning them over $1700
Coming in 3rd was the team of Glenn and Steve Sparrow with 14.75 lbs earning them over $1100
4th Place went to William and Colden Baker with 14.17 lbs
Rounding out the top 5 was the team of Clay Riddle and Chris Dorlan with 13.86 lbs including the Big Bass at 5.03 lbs
Mike Watson and Craig McFadden took home the title of 2024 Season Points Champs earning them a total of $3200 and punching their ticket to the 2025 FOM National Championship on Lake Murray!
Overall our top 20 teams shared over $14,000 in Points money thanks to their efforts both on the water and selling Raffle tickets.
