We kept the momentum rolling into the second event of the season with a powerful Friday night meeting! If you are in the area and looking for a church that has a servant's heart, look no further than "Bowman Baptist Church" and Pastor Caleb Bond. It is always a pleasure to visit churches for the first time, and we hope they will welcome us back in the future. The church has an incredible serve team that spoiled us with delicious food and a great fellowship space. Thank y'all so much for having us!
Ryan Bennett delivered an annointed message on how holding on to the lusts of this world will keep you from living eternally with The Lord in Heaven. We know that everyone that heard the message walked away with something The Holy Spirit spoke to them, but for one member in the room, that something was the gift of salvation! There is no decision that is more important than deciding to follow Jesus, and we are so excited and proud of you for choosing Him!
Thank you to all of our sponsors for donating products for our raffle where we had over $1000 worth of tackle and goodies up for grabs including a Berkley bag and a FOM logo RTIC cooler.
The weather man got it right for once as it turned out to be a beautiful day on Lake Hartwell with lows in the 50s and tempuratures rising to the upper 60s by weigh-in time. Clouds and a slight breeze was the right combination for some big fish. Congratulations to the winners, Kevin & Konnor Sanders with five fish weighing 20.39lbs. Charles Harbin and Larry Martin brought in 18.38lbs for second place, and finishing out our top three was the team of Chad Spiva and Mark Hardin with 18.03lbs. Big Fish honors went to the team of Ty King and Richard Seale for catching a "slaunch donkey" weighing 6.96lbs!
Our next destination is going to be a prespawn smackdown, so don't miss out!
We will see everyone at Lake Russell, March 2nd.
