FOM GA NORTH 2024 Season Kickoff Tournament

We had an amazing event to start off the 2024 season! A HUGE thank you to "The Church at War Hill" (Dawsonville, Ga) for hosting us. The staff there always go above and beyond to make sure that we feel the love of God from the moment we step in the door. They served us delicious food and gave us a wonderful space to meet and have fellowship. We cannot wait to come back!

Our assistant director, Konnor Sanders, preached a message about how only a real relationship with Jesus Christ can get you out of the cycles of sin that may be present in your life. To God be the glory, we had two members decide to rededicate their lives to The Lord, and many of the members expressed prayer requests that are now being targeted in our prayers for the division. 

Thank you to all of our sponsors for donating products for our raffle where we also had over $1000 worth of tackle and goodies up for grabs including a Berkley bag and a FOM logo RTIC cooler.

The wind was blowing hard enough to kite surf when we launched Saturday with tempuratures hovering around the mid to high 30s for the majority of the morning. It wasn't enough to stop the incredible Lake Lanier from putting out some great bags once again. Congratulations to the winners, Mark Hardin and Chad Spiva with a monster bag of spots weighing 21.79lbs.  It took almost 19lbs to get in the top 5 and nearly 18lbs to get a check. WOW! 

Our next stop is shaping up to be another Winter slugfest, so we hope to see everyone

 at Lake Hartwell February 10th
