Bowman Baptist Church and Pastor Caleb Bond were generous enough to host our division for the second Friday night meeting in a row! Talk about a place and a pastor that just enjoy loving on the community. Thank you again for your hospitality, and we are excited to see how God blesses your generous church.
Thank you JuJu's Catering for cooking us a fantastic meal. Between the pork tenderloin, green beans, and mashed potatoes, everyone had full bellies and were ready to get some shut eye. Pastor Caleb woke all of us up with strong word with us about answering the call that God has placed on our life. As Christians, we are not called to sit on the sidelines. We are called to make a difference in someone else's life and show them the love of Jesus.
Thank you to all of our sponsors for donating products for our raffle where we had over $1000 worth of tackle and goodies up for grabs including a Hammonds Fishing Center tackle pack, Berkley bag and a FOM logo RTIC cooler.
Congratulations to our winners! It took over 14lbs to get a check. First place went to the team of Snyder and Skinner who brought in five bass weighing 20.30lbs with two big fish that weighed 6.06 and 6.05lbs. Great catch! The team of Lutes and Petrovich took second place honors with five solid fish weighing 17.15lbs. Not bad for their first time fishing the lake! The team of Sanders and Sanders finished third with 15.80lbs.
We would like to say a special thanks to Darren Ashley for his kindness in helping one of our teams who had boat issues getting back to the ramp. That is what being a Fisher of Men is all about.
We will see everyone at Lake Chatuge, April 20th for a Spring-time Smackdown.
