2023 Berkley Team Series District 13 Championship
The District 13 Championship kicked off Thursday night in Webster NY where our anglers enjoyed subs, chips and cookies compliments of our Host Visit Rochester. After a message from National Director Al Odom, our anglers were anxious to get this derby underway.
Friday morning dawned clear and cool with a temperature at Blast-Off at 49 degrees. A beautiful day was in store for our anglers as they searched Irondequoit Bay and Lake Ontario for a limit of bass
When the dust settled on Day 1 the team of Aaron Stone and Thomas DeMarco Jr topped the field with a beautiful bag of 4 1/2 lb smallmouths pushing the scales to 22.87 lbs
In 2nd was the team of Duston Dennis and Joe Osgood who also had all brown fish for a 20.37 lb total
In 3rd is the Husband/Wife team of Debra and Randy Gavel whose bag weighed 19.40 lbs including the Days Big Fish a Monster 7.87 largemouth
in 4th is the team of Tim Dubuc and Clayton Grimm who brought 17.63 lbs to the scales
Rounding our the top 5 is the team of Jonathan Nichols and Lanc Denny whose limit weighed 15.58 lbs
